Specific pre-treatment assessment of cognitive,
language and adaptive skills is required upon entry in EAP’s
programme. Follow-up assessment every twelve months is also
required to monitor progress. These evaluations can be obtained
through Early Autism Project Malaysia or through an independent
psychologist. Assessments in red can be obtained through Early
Autism Project Malaysia.
The following are the assessments accepted
by Early Autism Project Malaysia:
Cognitive Abilities
• Wechsler Pre-School and
Primary Scales of Intelligence, or
• Wechsler Intelligence Scale
for Children – III or
• Bayley Scales of Infant Intelligence, or
• Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale: Fourth Edition,
or
• Griffiths Mental Developmental Scales
Language
• Pre-School Language Scale,
or
• Reynell Developmental Language Scale, or
• Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals (Pre-School
or Primary)
Adaptive and Social Skills
• Vineland Adaptive Behaviour
