Training of the team and supervision of
the program is accomplished during visits held fortnightly
(3 hour visits with the child, his/her parents and therapists).
Team leadership and supervision between supervision meetings
is provided by parents or by a particularly skilled team member
chosen by the parents. Fortnightly phone consultations between
parents / lead therapists and the Supervisor take place to
ensure the success of the program. In addition to the Supervisor’s
fortnightly supervision, children on this program see a WEAP
Consultant twice yearly for a progress review. These appointments
are generally one and a half hours in length.

A Junior Consultant runs an individualised home programme for your child. Training of the team and
supervision of the programme is accomplished during visits held fortnightly at the child's home (3 hour visits with the
child, his/her parents and therapists). Fortnightly phone consultations between parents/lead therapists and the Junior
Consultant take place to ensure the success of the programme. In addition to the Junior Consultant’s fortnightly visits,
children receiving these services see an EAP Consultant every 3 months for a Supervision visit. These appointments are
generally one and a half hours in length.
The Junior Consultant is responsible for supervising the child’s program, overlapping with therapists, training team members,
developing and monitoring the curriculum as well as facilitating team meetings. Their hours may also be used to coordinate
services with other professionals involved in your child’s therapy program, such as classroom teachers or speech therapists.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience working as a Therapist on ABA programs. Junior Consultants must
participate in an intensive 16-week training course, which includes both instruction by Clinic Directors and direct fieldwork
with a variety of children. The Junior Consultant has less than one year experience consulting families and teams.
