Initial Appointments

Initial Screening

The Initial Screening is a two-hour meeting where an EAP Malaysia Supervisor spends some time to get to know your child. We discuss your child’s development, strengths, and difficulties, and subsequently, provide you with recommendations on the number of therapy hours, therapists, and the skills that we can teach the child. A written report with the recommendations will be given to you (parents) following the meeting.

Diagnostic Evaluation

During this two-hour appointment, EAP Malaysia’s Psychologist will observe and play with your child as well as conduct an interview with the parents. The tools used for the evaluation are the Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) and the DSM-V (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) to make a diagnosis. A written report will then be given to you, which is included in the cost.
