He is able to get an X-Ray at the Dentist!

From running away at the mere sight of the clinic door to confidently walking in and getting his X-ray done all on his own!

Every small step leads to a massive victory. For children with sensory sensitivities, a dental visit can be incredibly overwhelming. But with patience, daily practice, and the right strategies, progress is always possible!

Here is how we supported his journey using ABA Therapy by breaking the skills down:

1️.  Social Stories & Visual Schedules: Building predictability so he knows exactly what to expect.

2️.  Gradual Desensitization: Home practices with facial massages and electric toothbrushes to reduce oral sensitivity.

3️.  Step-by-Step Transitioning: Starting comfortable checks on the sofa before moving to the dental chair.

And of course, celebrating his success with his favorite chips!  We are so incredibly proud of his bravery and growth.
