SALAM Autisme YSD & EAP ABAT Completion Ceremony

On 18 December 2025, we proudly celebrated the SALAM Autisme YSD & EAP ABAT Completion Ceremony, marking an important milestone for all Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) grant recipients who completed their training.
Early Autism Project Malaysia (EAP) is an approved coursework provider under the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis (QABA) Board, and we were deeply honoured to receive a grant from Yayasan Sime Darby and the Ministry of Finance, under the Malaysia MADANI Belanjawan 2025 initiative. Through this support, 200 participants nationwide were given the opportunity to undertake the ABAT course with 96 recipients in the May intake and 104 recipients in the September intake.
Beyond coursework, the grant also supports 20 individuals to complete their ABAT Supervision hours under our BCBA, Rachel Gomez. These individuals are currently on their journey toward sitting for the ABAT examination to become QABA-certified ABAT practitioners. Collectively, the participants, who are parents, doctors, and teachers from non-profit organisations and early intervention centres, represent more than 90 organisations across all 14 states in Malaysia, positively impacting over 800 children.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Yayasan Sime Darby and the Ministry of Finance for this meaningful partnership. Together, we are strengthening professional capacity and building a more inclusive future for the autism community. We look forward to creating an even greater impact in the years ahead!
